The UCT Symphonic Wind Ensemble, comprising about forty-five under- and post-graduate students perform their first concert of 2024. The Ensemble is conducted by Brandon Phillips, Head of Woodwind and Ensembles Conductor at UCT.

Brandon is no stranger to local audiences having been principal bassoonist of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, and Artistic Director and Conductor of the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
