The Friends have planned an exciting excursion to the Wellington area to visit Quenti Alpaca Farm and mill. Alpaca wool is known as one of the world’s most rare, softest and most luxurious fibres across a spectrum of natural colours.
Our tour of the farm will allow us to get close to these beautiful animals and view the spinning and processing of the fibre at the mill.
As children of all ages will thoroughly enjoy this unique experience, we encourage you to bring your children and grandchildren.
After the tour, you may explore Quenti’s studio, which is filled with the beautiful products made in the mill from the fleece grown by the herd. A variety of exceptional goods are on sale, which are ideal for gifts.
