This is Africa Champs – the biggest fitness racing event on the continent. Where grit meets glory, and where the Deadly Dozen in every age category line up shoulder-to-shoulder to see who’s truly Africa’s fittest.
How it Works:
Deadly Dozen is a battle of 12 Journeys (400m runs) + 12 Labours (strength stations). Think deadlifts, lunges, carries, snatches, squats, bear crawls, devil presses and more… all back-to-back. It’s raw, it’s relentless, it’s racing redefined.
Africa Champs isn’t just another race. It’s the culmination of a season.

From these races, the Top 12 in each age category (the Deadly Dozen) earn front-row starts at Africa Champs.

Podium at Africa Champs? You’re in. Automatic invite to the World Champs in London (5–6 Sept 2026, Crystal Palace Athletic Track).
Not on the podium? Don’t worry – you can still qualify by ranking Top 12 in your age group globally on the official Deadly Dozen rankings system. Track your progress daily on the Deadly Dozen Global website.
