CTCS presents African Pianism with Rebeca Omordia-

The Cape Town Concert Series 2025 celebrates 70 years of music making with concert of African Pianism featuring Rebeca Omordia who has spent the last decade bringing the rich and often underappreciated classical music from Africa to light. She has been unearthing and recording compositions by some of the continent’s influential past and present composers. Her programme African Pianism described by The Guardian as “wild and shimmering piano gems” is a fascinating kaleidoscope of piano works from West Africa, North Africa, South Africa and East Africa.

The concert starts at 11am in the Baxter Concert Hall.
