Pick n Pay established Feed the Nation at the start of the pandemic to serve vulnerable communities. Due to the overwhelming need, Feed the Nation Foundation was registered as a public benefit organisation. The Foundation provides food assistance primarily to schoolchildren, with a focus on those living in child-headed households. It also immediately mobilises to assist those affected by natural disasters, emergencies
