THE BEST OF SLAM CITY at @baxtertheatreCape Town has been buzzing with slam poetry all year long, and we want to honor the poets who lit up our stage! The poets who braved the tension and competed for the title of Slam Champion.

Our Slam Champions, who, month after month, improved their pen game. The newcomers and the late comers, for all those who love poetry. Come celebrate and cheer on Slam City's best poets on the 30th of November at 1 - 4 pm. Join our free "Curation and Community Building" workshop with our co-founder Zizipho Bam on the 30th of November at 9 -11 am.And to close off the year, a special musical poetry showcase by the self-published author and performer, Thandiwe Nqanda with her band.
