The tantalizing aroma of marinated meats wafting through the air, the sizzle of juicy steaks hitting the grill, and chatter amongst friends and families gathered around a fire – these are the quintessential sights and sounds of the Vaal River Braai Festival.
The event is a fun-filled, creative, and innovative braai and music festival campaign that promotes traditional South African food culture, cooking skills, as well as heritage. Over fifteen artists and twenty braai masters will grace the Caribbean themed dress code event which is expected to attract over 700 revelers from Free State, Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
