Let’s honour women this August during Women's Month!

LADIES IN JAZZ is a movement or ensemble comprising talented women who play musical instruments. It was founded in 1997 by a pioneering and ambitious woman who shattered stereotypes about female instrumentalists.

Their mission is to celebrate African musical heritage and acknowledge the heroes and heroines who paved the way for them. Over the years, they've had the privilege of touring various countries including the Middle East, London, Mozambique, Namibia, and Botswana.

Their performances have graced international stages such as The International Joy of Jazz, Tribute Concerts, and The Vavasati International Concert.

Additionally, they've had the honour of participating in events for esteemed entities like the American Embassy, German Embassy, and special occasions such as the farewell of Her Excellency Nkosazane Dlamini Zuma and Presidential events at the Presidency.

This August, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating the resilience, talent, and achievements of women in jazz and beyond.
