The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra is delighted to be back at the Hilton Arts Festival and brings you a wonderful programme of Baroque and early classical music. We kick off with Bach’s sparkling fourth Brandenburg Concert, featuring solo parts for violin and 2 flutes. After the sublime music of the Adagio by Albinoni, we again feature a solo violin for Winter, from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. The concert concludes with Mozart’s 9th Symphony, scored for 2 flutes, 2, oboes, 2 French horns, 2 trumpets, timpani and strings.
