MUD, MINES & MELODY is a short story developed as a curtain-raiser for a Wales, South Africa test match.

The 40-minute story briefly explores Welsh history in order to provide context around their colours, symbols, and famous tradition for singing. Most notably, it explores our massive mining industries, which provided both the basis for our deeply divided societies, but also a love of rugby which was to emerge as the emotional pastime of both countries.
