In November 2020 the ROYAL ARTS TOWN AMPHITHEATRE opened with writer / director Clare Stopford's play about the first few days of lockdown, COVID MOONS.
The production was invited to perform on the main program of the 2021 National Arts Festival in Makhanda (Grahamstown) but the 3rd Covid wave cancelled the live festival and all productions had to be filmed for participation on a virtual platform.
The film of COVID MOONS, which was made at the Atlantic Film Studios in Cape Town, will be screened once only at RATA and Clare Stopford and actors Celeste Loots and Thulani Nzonzo will be present for a meet and greet after the screening.
