From there, the interviews and articles were amalgamated into a five person play called ‘ A Tragic Conversation on the Persistence of Sainthood’ that took these interviews and fictionalised them into the lives of five fictional adolescent boys at a fictional elite South African all-boys school as they come to terms with their identity, sexuality, race and academics within a brotherly culture that is not as saintly as it seems.
