Soweto In Colours Countdown is an annual end of year lifestyle and entertainment event that seeks to create a safe space for the community of Soweto to celebrate the end of each year and usher the new year in the company of families and friends, regardless of the existing socioeconomic challenges and racial divide.

The event promises to provide an authentic Soweto nightlife entertainment and lifestyle experience through a line-up of the hottest DJ’s & Mc in Joburg, live broadcast of the 2023 countdown on JOZI FM, Lifestyle consumables exhibitions, Kasi Food stalls, a cooling Cocktail lounge and a refreshing beer garden in the company of likeminded people.

Soweto In Colours Countdown in its 12th year of production will once again be hosted on the 31st December 2023 at the iconic Soweto Theatre from 6m till the new year (1 Jan @ 5am), this year the event will be hosted by the diver of the airwaves Lungile Masondo (JOZI FM Weekdays Breakfast Show Presenter) and the award winning comedian and radio presenter Pele-Pele Mchunu.

DJ’s Line-up features Deejay Prince SA, Tshepojnr, DJ Cya, Mo Flava, DJ ZanD, DJ Jaivani, Big Skye, DJ Mr. X, Kmat_DJ, DJ Hudson, MacG and Sol.
