21st Encounters South African International Documentary Festival

From June 6-16 Encounters will mark 21 years of celebrating South African and International documentaries with local audiences in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The Festival will present the best selection of prize-winning and award-nominated films from the continent and abroad. Encounters is widely recognised as the premier non-fiction film festival on the continent, featuring compelling documentaries with strong narrative structures that are highly cinematic.
