DRAKENSBERG BOYS CHOIR - CHRISTMAS IN THE BERG

This concert is a highlight of our annual music calendar. Join the boys of the Drakensberg Boys Choir School as they showcase their talents in instrumental and vocal ensembles, as well as solo and duet performances, spread over a wide array of musical genres. Having been afforded the opportunity to explore their own creativity, the boys will demonstrate their musical skills and exhibit their world renowned professionalism. The 2024 Concert Choir will also make a cameo appearance in this concert which is not to be missed!

Experience the Drakensberg Boys Choir in its most versatile form. This concert follows the format of our regular Wednesday concerts, with a range of classical choral pieces, crossover repertoire and a few pop numbers before interval, followed by our popular, exciting and vibrant Afro Pop programme.

A collection of some of the most famous choral and classical works from a time when culture reigned supreme. Not to be missed, this concert includes the legendary Mozart’s Laudate Dominum and Handel’s Zadok the Priest, as well as the more contemporary favourite You Raise Me Up. Leave your formal attire at home and bring the whole family to enjoy this fun and exciting experience with us.
