St John's College is proud to present the Tutu Memorial Walk. This 6km walk through the diverse precinct of Houghton, Hillbrow, Berea and Yeoville, brings our community together to reflect on Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s teachings and engage about our shared humanity and the quest for a just society.
Led by students and leaders of our peer schools and churches, the Tutu Walk symbolises our hearts and minds moving toward a future where all individuals can feel safe, loved, and free. Together, we’ll explore the pathways of collective well-being and healing as a global family.
Tutu Memorial Walk
When: Sunday 6 October 2024 at 07h30
Where: Departing from D Field at St John’s Pre-Preparatory.
Cost: R250 each (maximum of 350). Children under 6 R100 (maximum of 50 kids). Children in prams are free.
Distance: 6kms
