We pride ourselves in offering a diverse and wide range of gardens that cater for various preferences, from small and large charming village gardens to breathtaking expansive farm gardens. We have something to suite every taste. Our goal is to provide fresh and exciting garden experiences and this year’s festival is no exception.
Explore a total of 10 gardens, one garden that has never been on display before, five that have not been on display for two years or more and four favourites from from last year’s festival. In addition to the gardens on display you will experience a delightful array of attractions including tea and scones, local sourdough breads, captivating talks, plants on sale, champagne and live cellist music.

Leon Kluge an international landscape designer, botanist, TV presenter plantsman and writer will be giving a talk at the Franschhoek Open Gardens on his experiences at the Chelsea Flower Show where he and his team won multiple awards as well as best on show. He has represented South Africa on the floral stage winning gold awards at the Singapore Garden Show, at the Goyang International Flower show in China and in South Korea at the Suzhou International Flower show. He has been voted landscape designer of the year by Cone Nast’s House and Garden magazine.
