Market Theatre Tours

The newly built Market Square has brought an interesting new dynamic to the arts hub in Newtown. Apart from its award-winning architecture the superbly designed Market Square is a campus for students at the Market Theatre Laboratory and Market Photo Workshop.

A guided tour will take arts enthusiasts and drama students through the historical Market Theatre complex as well introduce them to the modern new building at Market Square. Historical facts and anecdotes drawn from the Market Theatre’s 40th-anniversary coffee table book, 40 Years of Storytelling, will be narrated by a tour guide, Busi Letwaba.
